This puzzle is still parent-guided, but it asks for more than simple matching. The V-shaped piece makes rotation visible because the open side of the shape changes direction after each turn.
The semi-open board gives children room to test an idea, check the result, and correct it without a failure screen or countdown.
It is a useful bridge from Junior warm-ups into true Core Practice: the child is not just naming a piece, but checking whether the direction of that piece fits the space.
